Beachy and Breezy New Zealand
Not suprising, we were in the mood for a beachy and breezy vacation, so we kept it low key and explored lots of coves. New Zealand has a done a great job of keeping most of the coast line in the public domain - afterall tourism is a top industry - and so everywhere we drove we were within easy access to a beach!

New Zealand!!!

Okay, back to the regularly scheduled program of posting! I'm trying to be better about having the camera around. We just got back from our month in New Zealand. We stuck to the North Island, and spent most of our time around the Coromandel Penninsula. Below is a picture from the Chalet we stayed in, (I use the term Chalet loosely, as it was definitely budget accomodations).

This is pretty much the view almost anywhere you go in the Coromandel, which may be one of my new favorite places on the planet. I told Ger we have to go back for the seafood festival, as for next to no money we were able to get an ENTIRE TRAY worth of oysters. I had no problem being both walrus and carpenter, and sucking those suckers down.
